first if you aren't entirely familiar with dens here is a journal I wrote a while ago, I don't call them "Den Clans" anymore but the lore is still good for it: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9544967
There are many cultures that make villages that are multigenerational, made up of 2-4 drekir dens, there are many other cultures that form societies in which each den lives independently from every other den. These smaller communities (or nomadic bands) may only number around 40-70 drekir belonging to a single den living together without the older or younger dens of the region. In the case of more settled communities like the village here they would be one of dozens of small dens scattered throughout a region, some older and some younger generationally speaking. While all these dens live individually they are generally on good terms with the other dens of the region, trading and interacting regularly as well as working and cooperating with eachother.
So these societies are heavily decentralized since every den is mostly living on its own though still on relatively good terms save for the occasional feud between different dens.
Children in this specific example are raised within a den and, once they hit adolescence or early adulthood, are sent out to start their own new den and continue the cycle of the region. I would imagine the drekir of the occasional elder den are Either taken in by another den community or simply given the liberty of dying on their own terms, with the dens of the region coming together to commemorate the end of of a den.
You could also imagine drekir all giving their eggs to the oldest den of the region who is charged with raising the next generations of young in exchange for having their needs met by the other villages.
hehe =w=
