I like the way you have your head tilted. We can see your smile. Most poses you're straight-on, maybe head down a bit so your smile isn't very visible.

I've got a similar thing with my shepherd, Baron. I think he looks odd straight-on, so I am trying to pose him more from one side or the other. Practice in front of a mirror, just put your head on and look at how your head is posed, then once you find a good pose, remember that spot that you appear in the mirror in your eye screening, and try to put the camera in that spot when you pose for pix.
