When relations between people heated up on the eve of another war, the griffins left their habitats and flew to the Heavenly City forever.
But not Kirshi. His wings were too weak to lift the griffin high enough into the sky. One of a kind, he was forced to stay on earth and watch the development of events.
And then... It turned out that among the people there are those who want to escape from the war. Kirshi watched them, checking the purity of their intentions. If people lived up to his expectations, he led them to the mountains, showing the way to the Heavenly City.
People made airplanes and rocket packs, brought airships and balloons - after all, everyone who wanted to get into the city got there. And never came back.
As for those who were looking for a way to the City for selfish purposes... Kirshi led them to the Wasteland, where a dense fog lay on the ground, hiding the heavens. He left them wandering in circles in the dark, forever cutting off the path to the desired city.
