Went crazy-go-nuts and doodled a tiny bust for a friend's fae character, and stuck it on a dogtag necklace. Might do them digitally in the future for commissions. Can get better tiny details that way. But this was fun anyway! I like it. Wish the photo did it better justice.

This one's drawn and colored on just a piece of copy paper, then stuck on the tag with super glue, then topped with a protective "epoxy dome" that's sold on sheets like stickers. I might use some other glue or protective coating in the future. Or if the image was digital, maybe print out on sticker paper. This was just a test.
I sent it to my friend, who is the owner of the character. She romps about roughing it in the woods at a rennfaire for at least two months, so if she doesn't destroy it, I'll be surprised. XD It seemed pretty secure while I had it though. It's water resistant, so if it gets wet, wiping it down should do it. But the edges are open, so it's not waterPROOF. Probably shouldn't submerge it for long or often.. so no swimming with it on. XD Metal would get nasty anyway, I think. But some kind of clear resin or other coating might be able to seal that part up.
I actually got all the parts for this and the flat bottle cap cell charm I made from ebay for really cheap. Also seen them on etsy for slightly more. I've never seen the stuff at Michael's or any store.
