So, ages and ages ago (almost one year in fact) I posted a poll on Deviantart asking my followers to decide which old drawing I should remake with my current style. The votes were pretty much even, but the drawing titled "Just Peace and Quiet" surpassed a few other options by literally 1%.

I have to say it's been great working on this exact same subject again!
In the new version I decided to get quite ambitious while coloring the sky, and I think I managed to "discover" a few new handy tricks to make clouds. I've also noticed that in my recent works the colors look a bit too oversaturated, especially warm light effects, so I tried to tone it down a bit for this version.
Overall I'm VERY happy with the result, I missed doing huge illustrations that are not commissions.
If you have any feedback / advice to help me improve, I'm all ears! Sadly I no longer have time to reply to comments, but you can rest assured I read all of them!

The secret to success is doing a decent job, always trying to improve, and being consistent overall. Consistent posting/activity, consistent and upwards-trending quality, etc. It's no surprise you've gotten as popular as you have. And yeah, doing pieces like these every once in a while is really important to do. Sometimes, that gets forgotten...
