Another bit of practice of mine, involving me trying a different species rather than the wolfs and canines that I tend to do. Namely, I decided to work on a phoenix character, albeit I only actually got up to his head!

His appearence is actually based off an old school emblem that belonged to a school I used to go to as a kid. I just tweaked up the colours. Like the wolf full body I did before, I also began experimenting with a new approach to eyes, and got a very good 3D effect on it.

Really liked the way this came out! Might do more with him later.
