Ok since m'wuffy friend vrghr honored me once with a truly mouth-waterin' steak awhile back an since he seems ta delight in further torturin' me by tellin' me he plans on makin' an entire feast practically in honor'a me... well... naturally I felt compelled ta see if my meager culinary talents could produce somethin' he'd find drool-worthy made in honor'a him so here it is... my recipe made fer a fellawuff:
The Vrghr Royale Porkchop!
ingredients:
1 thick-cut porkchop
10 slices of hickory smoked BACON
4 green onion stalks
1 large tomato
1 cucumber (though only about half was used)
seasonings & sauces:
Mrs. Dash garlic & herb seasonings
Norton's Nature's All seasonings
parsley flakes
red wine
ranch salad dressing
Vrghr sauce: (tsp. of A-1 sauce, tsp. of soy sauce, tsp. of teriaki sauce
& 1 oz. of sour cream stirred in a lil sauce bowl)
directions:
1.) slice up yer tomatoes an cucumber then store in ziploc bag with a few dashes of red wine, place in refrigerator til ready for garnishing.
2.) mix up the Vrghr sauce in the lil' sauce bowl then stir an set aside... this will be the glaze fer yer porkchop an bacon.
3.) fry up the bacon then set aside on napkin-covered paper plate. break bacon in halves when cooled.
4.) drain bacon grease from skillet but do not wipe out skillet, fry the thick-cut porkchop, adding teriaki sauce as it fries, turning an pressing down ta make sure the whole porkchop gets an even dark browning from the seared sauce.
5.) On serving plate lay out the green onion stalks in the center, then lay out a 'smiley' curve of alternating tomato & cucumber slices, then above this lay on the bed of bacon half slices. Drizzle ranch dressing across the top-most side of yer tomato/cuke row then sprinkle with the garlic & herb seasonings.
6.) Place the thick-cut porkchop over the bacon then glaze it and the bacon with the Vrghr sauce then sprinkle with parsley flakes an serve!
Hopefully ya can manage ta keep yer big wuffy away from the kitchen ta sample the bacon an other things prior ta servin' this... yeah good luck with that! some bacon never made it that far fer me LOL
...an hopefully vrghr an the rest'a ya like how this turned out :)
