A whirlwind of golden claws and teeth with four glowing eyes. The beast appeared suddenly in the corner of the room, then disappeared just as quickly. Nothing that large should have been able to simply vanish and reappear with such speed. Yet it jumped from one angular surface to another as if leaping through portals only it could perceive. Wounds inflicted upon the creature briefly oozed an amber fluid but then healed rapidly. It shook itself off and dislodged the bullets emptied into it's torso by the machine gun, while a rocked-propelled grenade shot to the chest merely caused it to flinch. All the white it chanted, reciting mantras to itself with the fervour of a religious zealot, howling praises to the one who had blessed it with such unearthly powers.

Tripping over themselves as they fled, the mercenaries ran screaming from the forest. Their attempted assassination ending in humiliating failure. Returning to his Master's side, the fearsome hound felt the embrace of robed arms as a hand ruffled underneath it's chin. "Well done, Lambda," spoke Canthus, and the wolf wagged his whip-like tail as he lapped up the praise and physical affection. "They should know better than to try to attack us again." A gentle soul at heart, the great beast nodded his head... hopeful to again be left in peace to enjoy the comforts of the pleasure cult he now belonged to. Were that peace to be disturbed though, Lambda knew he would be ready. His claws bristling at the mere thought that anyone might try to endanger those he now protected.

 LeinadObtrebla is an absolute sweetheart. But don't threaten the people he cares about! Even the most loveable hounds aren't without teeth. I mentioned to Leinad that I've been meaning to balance out the abundance of wholesome art in my gallery with some more menacing imagery from time to time, and from that this idea sprouted!
