I think he still could do phyisical work for keeping his status no matter the pregnancy development, after all male body is done for more physicall effort resistance, so it'll be OK for him still doing physical activities no matter the mpreg although might slow down the level as it goes on - having the pregnancy is further phyiscal effort for him too!
