There are various sects and groups of necromancers in the Direwind clan. The carrionmancers specialize in reanimating the fallen, the bonemancers specialize in the crafting of bone golems, and fleshmancers specialize in the construction of flesh golems. Out of all of these, perhaps the most rancid and fetid of them all are the Fleshmancers, depraved individuals who perform horrible rituals and agonizing torture and dissection of captives and prisoners, tearing them apart slowly and painfully to 'harvest' parts needed to craft and meld a festering flesh golem. Xerva Fleshfur marked herself as one of the best, performing unspeakable atrocities in the name of the Direwind and in the name of the plague god, Betoxxulous. Such rabid, cruel, and outright sadistic devotion earned her a spot as Nerek's 'left hand', being one of his trusted apostles and disciples. With each successful and depraved creation, Xerva's personal menagerie of flesh beasts and flesh golems grows more and more horrific and depraved, some beasts sporting multiple limbs, heads, and all sorts of foul and magical attachments. Flesh golems are known to regenerate as opposed to their more sturdier bone golem 'cousins', and with Xerva as the head of flesh golem construction, nothing can stop the Direwind if she continued her horrible craft.
