One last one of Kiwa as, well... KIWA. I have a lot of fun doing Leonidas, but running around AC on Friday night as... err.. myself was a LOT of fun in a lot of different ways, and it's definitely something I hope to continue to do a little more often from now on.
I don't want to completely flood FA with pictures of my costume, so this'll be the last set of pictures from AC that I'm gonna upload. Entirely too long. First application of body paint is about 3 hours, give or take. Once the first application is on then it's just touchup, which can be anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour or so. I've gotten the face down to about another 45 minutes to an hour now, but that too a LONG time when I was first gettin' used to doing it.

Awww, hehe, thank you so much, I'm really glad to hear that ya like it! And yeah, I'm not sure what to call it either. 'Technically' it's more of a costume than a suit, but I still call it my fursuit nevertheless (and it still has that ever-so-peculiar effect of instantly changing my personality the second I put it on ).
This might be your last set but I still believe you were the most original idea at the con.
Everything about your lion screams the real article minus a few touches made by you.
You're about as close to a real lion as you can get with getting the actual deep *ROAR*.
I'm gonna miss your idea but it was great to see a creative mind finally getting furry isn't about a hot sweaty fursuit.

The bodypaint is variable depending on the kind and method used, but takes around 2-3 hours the first application. The face is roughly about another 1 to 1.5 hours... so it takes awhile. Once the initial bodypaint is on, it takes about 15-60 minutes to do touchup work on it on it the second and/or third days
lol, I dunno about perfect.. I think it's far from it. I always see room for improvement!

It's very much a compliment, I assure you. Most people could only dream of looking even half as good as their fursonas; I mean, fursonas are usually created to be idealized, impossibly-perfect beings. Somehow, you manage to leave your fursona in the dust in terms of physical appearance. Incredible. XD
