“I’m going to take this to your granny.” The Wolf said. “When I get back, I’m going to take you back to my den.”
“Can’t you just let me go?” Krystal asked. “I’m not worth much to you, am I?”
“You’re worth a lot, my girl!” The lupine chuckled. “In fact, you’re worth my time!”
Krystal frowned as the Wolf went to give her grandmother the basket. She waited until the crazed lupine was gone so that she could scream for help. However, no one came to free her. If only someone could hear her.
