Specifically, one of the later chapters. Reggie Buckhorn has had a fierce row with his sire, Sir Jossyln Buckhorn. He has swum over to a nearby island, and tired out by the exertion, he has fallen asleep. He has been poked awake the next morning by The Kitten (a minor character who shows up from time to time in the stories to torment characters), who is now in the process of pointing out that Reggie looks like a tree, given the seaweed on his antlers.

Pay close attention to The Kitten's clothing, by the way. One of Sue's marvelous little details.
