Now this really, really brings back some nostalgic memories. I remember how I discovered there would be more Pokemon on the internet when I was younger, and was genuinely excited (and proceeded to tell my classmates about it at school the next day).
I even tried to draw one of the three starter Pokemon from memory - that Pokemon was Chikorita (although I did not know the English name at the time, as it was all in Japanese).
I maaaaay have drawn Chikorita as some kind of slug with a leaf on the head, because I wasn't sure if I could remember if it was a slug or if it had legs (spoiler alert, I thought it was some kind of grass slug). xD

Anyway, out of the Johto Starters, I pick Chikorita. :3
