I must say the new methods I tried and new brushes for painting this were so enjoyable that the time slot passed by so quickly!
This is a commission for an absolute doll, blissey12 on twitter of this super wholesome, sweet, kindhearted snake gal with a tragic but uplifting backstory. I really loved their idea of her stargazing with several of her snakey "legs" participating or being bored or asleep. In fact, this was the most enjoyable thing I have painted! I was having a lot of family stress and the past week I bought a game and sunk a lot of time into a mindless harvest-moon type game. One of the nights I was don't playing and working on this, and after I'd taken my anxiety medication I put on the Joy of Painting (amazon prime, bob ross) and I just hit this state of complete contentment and comfort and I didn't realize I'd spent all night painting until the sun had come out!
So please give them a follow, give this snake some love, she has some things in common with me, like a love for gardening and fields where you can see the stars! ♥ Thank you again, I am always so proud and grateful to all my commissioners, but this one in particular was a very good thing for me to work on.
