So this is a new series I'll be doing every so often. I really like the idea of open species, and allowing anyone who wants to use one to do so--as someone who really dislikes restrictions on creativity, I always vouch for the concept of opening an idea up for anyone.

To help do this, I've started Open Species Stories, which is where any open species I see that catches my eye, I'll do a story about. This can be any random idea I have, but I'm hoping that I can give ones I particularly like a bit more visibility, and maybe make the entire concept of them a little more widely done.
