Ever find it odd that female Salandit can evolve and the Pokedex hints at the possibility that males can but don't due to malnutrition? Compound that with a male, raised from an egg, being unable to evolve? I'm aware of source material reasons, but... what if there's more to the story? This is my brainchild in over analyzing the data at hand for use in my PMD&D game world.
Super rare male Salandit evo I have dubbed Alirize. Poison-Dragon type, these Fakemon come about when a five-toed Salandit with the Oblivious trait is allowed to evolve. It's musk is able to control females to the same extent as Salazzle pheromones can control males. Alirize were known to command upwards to 10 Salazzle dens at once. According to legends, the genetic trait for 5 toes was ultimately wiped out as the capability of the line to be able to control both genders of any species was too terrifying a potential. While it is flight capable for short distances, it normally had it's wings draped over its shoulders. Due to their draconic nature, ones of notable power possessed a Dragonium Z crystal as a sign of their influence and power.
