Yes if you can find a complete factory Tri-power set-up with intake manifold you are looking North of three thousand dollars with questionable carburetors.

But I imagine that getting these three temperamental beasties to work together as intended is going to be about as easy as herding cats. Feral cats, at that.
But once you've got them properly synchronized, the payoff will be sooooo worth it.

The factory Tri-power's are not hard to set up. It two big things are getting the carb float setting exactly on the secondary carburetors with matching main jets.

Whatever you do don't drop anything! You'll never find it on that floor!

woo, good ol duo-jet, interestingly there used to be waaaay more tripower setups than pontiac ever produced, was a real hot ticket item.

Yes I know... but finding the is the issue anymore. Finding the center carb is easy because it's the run of the mill 2 jet, it's hard to find the two end carbs because they are different in a number of ways... the linkage can be an issue too.

Thats awesome! Back just before I got my license my dad use to have a 1968 427 corvette with that setup on it. I always wanted to fix it up when I started driving but he sold it too soon.

Sad things work out that way in much of life.

iirc they got no idle passages, no choke bits, (both way easy to fix with some jb-weld) and the real kicker: extra-thick throttle plates that are perfectly fitted, to avoid any vacuum leaks when you're trying to run on just the center carb

too much junk going on in my mind
especially with ethanol blended gas, I remember talking to some guy in california that buys the $70 cans of stihl brand gas for his chainsaws just because it's cheaper than driving to a free state to get no ethanol gas for them

Maybe throw a shutoff in the fuel line so they can run the bowls mostly dry before parking it for the winters.

We can get ethanol free fuel here.
