This is really sweet. I love the cat's expression as she dances away in her happy bliss, and Jeff's bemused expression as he watches her.

I love seeing work inspired by lyrics too.

Good job on the likeness of Jeff Lynne there. Before I ever read your comments or the bottom of the picture and he popped up, I was thinking, "Hey, that looks like Jeff Lynne." I love the coloring in this one too.

Yeep! I was into ELO and Kansas back in high school. I still have the LPs such as Out Of The Blue with the flying saucer! Only thanks to Dr. Demento did I learn of Jeff Lynne's older groups "The Move" (first did "Do Ya") and Idle Race ("The Skeleton And The Roundabout").

There's a double CD reprint of the two Jeff Lynne Idle Race CDs, called Back to the Story. Highly recommended. There's a song on it called Mr. Crow and Sir Norman that I'm planning to do as a comic at some point.
