Well, I assume he's absorbing plenty of radiation from the sun, and the beach is sandy, so... close enough?
Pop bottles are a fun accessory to add to scenes, a great way to show that a character is relaxing and having something to drink. I should probably actually develop some in-universe branding to go with them at some point but as it stands I just like playing with generic aesthetics for the labels, that way I can match the label to the scene or the theme of the drawing. Here, the dark cola color works with Ikaika's brown coloration, and the orange and yellow and sun motif match his "fun in the sun" vibe.
I could have given him something that's visually meant to be Mountain Dew but I think the colors would clash a bit. Orange soda could have worked, though. Now I want sugary carbonated beverages...
