So this one was an illustration I was commissioned on Fiverr. The customer wanted a mixture of an axolotl robot (with a reference image he submitted), Mecha Godzilla and Gundam. The pose is based off Gundam, as you may obviously tell. While some of its body details were improvised, I tried to use as much as possible Mecha Godzilla's body parts while at the same timing mixing them with Gundam parts. The emblem on its shield it's a sea bass which the customer wanted to be there. While the lineart was done in the traditional way, color was digital. I wanted to do paint with watercolor but the deadline was closing in, so I chose the digital way. Hope you guys like it!

Since the old style of kits from the 80s and 90s had these cool sort of painted boxes and that was my first thought seeing yours.
