Our pet mouse, Fezziwig, died Friday. I wanted to draw him. This is based on a photograph I took in his pen (a plastic storage bin with windows cut out and metal bars put over the open space, so the mouse has great volume and fresh air and plenty of chance to interact with you) back in December. He was a personable and friendly mouse, industrious to the end. Even on his last day he was hard at work moving paper-towel tubes around to build a network of tunnels in his cage. I miss him.
