I've been a fan of the series since 3 Ultimate on the 3DS and it's absolutely amazing how far the series has gone.

it is pretty amazing.

i've played MH since the 3rd game, i will say it can get a bit confusing for first timers. but it is more simple than it looks. mainly you need to worry about equipment setups and know your enemy.

say you're going up against a fire type that also does poison damage. you can or going to have to make and choose either fire resistance or poison resistance for example.

the game also requires a bit of farming for items too. so expect that.

also since i already done the story (short game for now till they release more content for free) i can easily say it's a a downgrade from Monster hunter World. which is a shame. but also not saying it's not worth playing Rise.

it does a little I just need to get use to the controls, I'm used to games with simple controls.

I did alright on great izuchi though with the daggers lol, but I should try the other weapons too.

yeah I notice there is a lot of items.

for beginners i'd start with the long sword or hammer. personally the hammer is very overpowered so try it out when you can
