Built in 1926 this Baldwin 2-4-2 spent over 60 years toiling in the south’s vast pine forests bringing trees to mill. Now it rests a mile from the sea on track that hasn’t been connected to the main network in decades. The flatcar just behind it came from the lumber company it worked at. It’s a older build featuring arch bar trucks and structural trusses.
