100 years and one catastrophic fire later this caboose still gets to see the light of day. It once rode the rails on the old L&N across the Florida panhandle. After a fire where it was stored a local businessman bought it and restored it to it’s early L&N glory. Now it can watch over it’s train from its post on a lonely cut off siding in Downtown Pensacola, Florida. Forever a reminder of what once was.
