Every day he works hard to gather honey for the queen! But he tends to get distracted too easily. Sometimes he'll spot a friend on a picnic to play with(like Beau or someone), sometimes he'll see a cute girl bee to flirt with... but while he's off playing (When he SHOULD be working), the big mean bear comes along and steals his honey, or attacks the hive!

Actually that is not really true, though Drones never exhibit typical worker bee behaviors such as nectar and pollen gathering, nursing, or hive construction. The drones' main function is to be ready to fertilize a receptive queen. Mating occurs in flight, which it will soon die because the penis and associated abdominal tissues are ripped from the drone's body at sexual intercourse.
