For some reason, I'm reminded of a friend of a friend of a friend who used illicit substances. Some of his friends, deciding to forcibly wean him off them, visited his house and found him doing exactly this, insisting that people were hiding in an adjacent field, spying on him. (He got locked in the bathroom temporarily. Unfortunately, he ended up having a stupidly-large stash of cocaine in there. I'm told the look on his face when it was swept off the toilet tank cover and flushed was priceless!)

He's got his eye on things I see.
