You might have seen in the Gigi drawing I did recently that I'm experimenting a little with how I do the vacuum effect. I think if I return to drawing comics, I want to keep the coloring flat where shading is just used as necessary, but gives me some room to have fun with how I draw "wind".
So here's a couple tries at it! The first one's a bit more how I traditionally use it, but the second one has been growing on me. I think ultimately it depends on the angle of a comic panel, and like all things, I'll probably find an easy to draw median between the two.
