Season 4 specifically had the least furry costume end up winning, as did season 3. The sun / LeAnn Rimes honestly it just went through the entire competition acting like she was too big to fail. Her first performance was good, but the rest of them were mediocre, but people just ate her performances up like they were candy.

It also feels like this happen in Masked Singer Germany season 3 as well as Masked Singer Spain season 1. In both cases, it was the only human costume that ended up winning in. In Masked Singer Germany, she was also the only singer that was any Good, making it feel like the season was set up literally just to insult furries.

I was worried it would happen this season with the Russian dolls, but it ended up not happening. Still, season 5 had so many amazing costumes that they wasted on throw away contestants, but then they give a fuzzy Pig in lederhosen and a propeller hat to Nick Lachey.

I liked the Russian Dolls, at least they were better than Chameleon/Wiz Khalifa, who did nothing but rapping. Although I don't mind Piglet/Nick Lachey winning. I wish they can bring a Wolf or a Fennec in future seasons of the American version.

As a Spaniard, I rooted for Caniche (Poodle), Cuervo (Crow), Pavo Real (Peacock) and Girasol (Sunflower). I don't think Catrina was the worst, but I never considered her the best.

And about Germany, I rooted for Thomas Anders as Schildkröte and liked Kuken's version of All about that bass. And Mike Singer as Wuschel sang My way like a boss.
