This is a late birthday gift art to my friend  leenden I hope he likes it. I still need to finish another one. From a rough sketch that went through several odd changes to at least fit correctly. Inspired by the scene from the film the Dark Knigh in spirit of Batmunk (Alvin and the Chipmunks Go to the Movies). I'm not sure if this was done before, but here is my version. I based the look of Alvin and Simon on the live action CGI films. Also I drew inspiration from  leenden and  jailbird works which is a blending of the CGI designs with the classic animated series. I worked with the idea of Simon with glowing yellow eyes as seen in the "Go to the Movies" intro which I thought looked cool, but didn't look right in the final draft.
