Let's sail across ze sea of love, mon chéri! - REUPLOAD
Hi! Looks like Sigrún became a love interest of certain famous French skunk, even though she haven't accidentally painted herself in black and white stripes :D C'est l'amour!
(And looks like ACME owns a cruise ship line too :D)
This is just a reupload of an artwork I submitted recently. I photographed the drawing in a different lightning, and at first I wanted to replace the submission with the new version, but I noticed that the previous lightning added some... cool retro-vibe to the drawing :D Which fits it in some way because Pepé's screen debut happened in 1945. And I couldn't decide which version should I leave there, so now you have both! :D
This drawing is my fanart of Pepé Le Pew, one of the Warner Bros' cartoon characters.
The clothing (and scenery too, tbh) is inspired by the song "Skibet skal sejle i nat", performed by Birthe Wilke and Gustav Winckler as the Danish entry for Eurovision Song Contest in 1957. The song ended up low-placed, because the duo ended their performance with a long, 13-second kiss what caused controversy.
The performance was recorded in black and white, so I don't know what color their clothes really were and used quite random ones - if someone has this information, let me know :D
This is also... kind of a protest artwork for me. There is some debate still going on since March over certain decisions made by WB about the Space Jam sequel, which I feel I need to take a stance in.
You can find both the previous version of this submission and my statement about "canceling" Pepé, here -> https://www.furaffinity.net/view/41512203/
Hope you enjoy. :3
