I like to think they’re attending some sort of formal event, distractedly making silly remarks to each other.
Except then Ceyre’ll get excited and probably say something too loud

I’m so glad I finally decided on the royal crest, detailed in their clothing! I had to pause in the middle of coloring this to figure out a meaningful symbol, lol.
It’s heavily inspired by Legend of Zelda’s Hylian crest, as an ode to my favorite video game series, and I love the wing motif; the main difference being another set of smaller wings to signify how the royal family has wings on their head as well!
Hopefully I’ll be able to dive a bit more into the lore in the future.
