A new ref sheet for Ace. It's basically the old one...just edited.
I added color spots on the left there and changed Ace's eyes to a pale aqua green. And with their power of persuasion and knowledge of genetic mutations,
got me to change Ace to a leucistic black-backed jackal, rather than partial albino. Leucistic is sort of like albino...but can be lacking ALL color pigment, rather than just melanin. However, some leucistics can also have some color on them and normal colored eyes.
Anyways...I also changed his ear piercings. He has a 1" gauged plug at the base, and a tunnel above that that can range from a 6 gauge to a 00 gauge, I suppose (I'm terrible with proportions).
Ace belongs to me.

Fully albino, but still pretty spiffy.

Yar, googling is probably your best bet, cause I'd just google up examples to throw at you. The key difference is that leucistic animals typically do not have the red eyes. As far as I know, every example of a white lion has been leucism. Albinos are usually slightly yellowish, rather than pure white.
(just read your journal about the eyes) Leucistics generally have normal eye colors and often have partial white/normal coloration. I'd say that's the best bet for a label for the colors you're after here.

And the reason I know so much about this crap is that I'm very interested in animal mutations like this, so I google them regularly for fun. XD

Yeah but I haven't seen any Leucistics that have any pigment in their fur at all (except for the pibald coloration). Ace is like a faded black backed jackal. I don't want to have him all white (imagine if you spilled bleach on a jackal...lol...pretty much. Ow that sounds painful D: ) And he's not so much pibald because his coloration is where the black on a blackbacked usually is (save a few tweeks here and there to make it sort of unique-ish)...
Though...now I kind of want to draw him with a pibald sort of back patch...and maybe say he's leucistic...make the edges a bit jagged...add some little spots outside of the patches...hmmm
Now you got me thinkin P:

Thinkin' is gud! Google image search on leucism, there's some pretty damn cool examples of it out there. Also melanism. Nature is neat.
Plus, there are various incarnations of it, for example http://www.wildlifeextra.com/images.....stic-stag6.JPG looks a lot like a faded deer (I think it's a red deer), and the lions typically look 'bleached' http://www.thearchnemesis.com/image.....tic%20lion.jpg it's still got its spots and everything. And you can still see the 'stripe' on this impala http://www.wildlifeextra.com/resour.....la_1@large.JPG
And this is just cool http://www.junglecats.com/_borders/.....erval%20US.jpg

On second thought I like his simple patterns as they are. But A pibald leucistic jackal might still be possible. Very...specific pibald lol. I dunno. I shall ponder. I do know that partial albinos can have normal eyes too...or pale colored eyes. And albino is easier for people ot understand than leucistic, I would think. It's all very interesting.
