Having a detailed reference sheet while looks epic, has it's downsides (flat colors). With my current artwork season in progress. Some artists have encountered confusion with my flesh colors and eyes. While it isn't a big blown up problem, it's still important to address. So I had these artists kindly assist me quickly to remedy this problem and I thank them for it. The first remedy you see here is made by Vazilior. While Ennismore went back and patched the flesh color errors in the palette on the flat ref Himera and I did. Quickly solving this problem. Now hopefully there will be no further problems with the reference.

I definitely learned a lot more now when it comes to references. I am thankful for my friends to reach out and explain to me. While these remedies shall hold, keeping the reference usable without any further problems. Now that I have my detailed design finalized, in the future I may do another reference. That will strictly be flat with even more stuff added on to it that I'd like to have. For now I have sufficient reference and I am not interested in working on more reference. Working on all that reference already done was a ton of work. Perhaps in the future I will re-visit this then and have something crafted.
