The beast ran and ran and ran tracking its prey with ever growing zeal and an insatiable hunger that burned with ever freezing step it took. It soon found it could go no further as its earlier rampage had incited the wrath of some very powerful creatures that took it upon themselves to stop the twisted creature and for a while they were winning. The skunk beast was slowly but surely worn down even as it fought tirelessly as if it were possessed, finally they were able to strike it down standing back as they watched it dissolve into the ether. As it lay there fading away a spark of something malicious flickered in its eyes, a shred or reason returned with a familiar will to survive it’s burning hatred returning warping the world around it. The fading clad began to recompress pulling additional data from the very ground as it rebuilt itself and in a flash of light the beast was gone. Now taking its place was a wretched creature, twisted and spiteful full of a bitter resolve to survive, floating there ragged and wrong it’s breath a poisonous fog seeping out down to the ground spreading a cold miasma of death. Looking up the being raised it’s arm slowly burning with an unclean aura fueled by a darkness from yet unknown Stygian depths or chaos and hatred.
“You’ve made me late.” It said coldly, “But renewed my resolve. There are far more kind ways to die yet you've insisted on this cold uncaring hand be your end, one guaranteed to bing eternal agony. I give you a gift. A taste of what is to come and a death far more swift then what he will know. Take solace for what comes to those after you will not end even as you burn in the cold fires of unknowable darkness. For you have my permission, to die.”

Mega form of digi Nixx done by  g0df0x and omg is this ever an appropriate manifestation of all that pent up darkness the poor puppet master needs to keep burried inside. Freezing agony held together by rugged hatred and an unmercifully insistent will to survive. Truly a cautionary tail on playing with forces beyond your control and not being able to let things go, no matter your illusions or how deep you burry them they are always there waiting eager to consume you in their grief to feel a modicum of wholeness and warmth that will never come.
