My mental state hasn't exactly been the best.

My motivation and love for simple things are getting harder and harder to maintain as the hours I sleep tick by.
The feeling of loss is fickle and chaotic, the way I love is hard and unforgiving. My heart leaps farther than anyone can ever match in pace, sometimes it has consequences.

I wish I could stop feeling this way, I wish I could ease off on so many things but I know I'll forever be hopelessly passionate about individuals who can't handle that kind of attention. I wish I were different.

I can't be, though. I've tried it before. I could change myself to make everything easier but in the end I would only lose it like I have in the past, and I have too much self respect for that at this stage of my life. So, instead I'll wait. Maybe in the future a pace will match with mine, maybe once time heals there's a chance to catch up.
