“But there's no way I can kill you, no matter what my family says!” Agate whimpered, pressing her face into the soft scales of Nel's neck.
“Then what will you do?” Nel held the trembling fox close, her claws sliding through soft blue fur.
“I don't know,” Agate said, “anything but that.”
This was supposed to be a warm-up, but ended up as a commission example instead. Whoops. I'm just glad to see my wrist is starting to function again. Gotta sell that art if I want to be wed at the end of the year, haha.
