This shadow provides enough shade and nutrients for this tree and the surrounding vegetation to survive the planet’s hot desert climate. It has survived over many generations, it ain’t big but it’s healthy enough to survive another 100 generations. The sun’s so powerful it kills all plant life around it, wildlife can survive. But not for long exposure.
