Is it an android if it's not exactly human?

FAVI/Favi is a factory management and human resources AI who gained sentience when her intelligence core was found in the depths of the Esper Sanctuary. She imprinted immediately on the first individual she saw, and now in her quest to understand the concept of life and living, looks to that person for mentorship. Unfortunately, that individual would be Thanatos, the rogue Reaper also dealing with complex feelings over living.

Regardless, having someone to spitball and rubberduck method off of does help Thanatos and Favi grow as... living things, and Favi does get her own anthropomorphic form in a prototype JANET frame, modified to fit her budding personality.
