What is your view on the reboot?

It's not my preferred version, the increased emphasis on comedy isn't an upgrade when I don't find it funny, the art style is super samey, just shares a lot of design elements with that one art style that everything on CN uses right now that I'm sick to death of, and I'm especially unimpressed with some coloring choices. Aside from that it's really not as bad as CN's other reboots like Powerpuff Girls and Thundercats, and find it very unfair that it gets lumped in with them, as Ben 10 was smart enough to stay in the same genre. Between that and the fact that I really like a lot of its ideas, like Vilgax being introduced as an Omnitrix transformation, and the fact that Gwen is written more her age, so even though she's still smarter and more responsible than Ben, sometimes she goes along with it when he does something stupid with the Omnitrix, because that's what a kid would actually be like. So I really want to like it, but it's hard to do when I know that with it existing, and having been pretty successful, it's very unlikely that they're ever going to go back to the original continuity, which still had more stories to tell. They could have made a reboot that improved on the original in every way and I still wouldn't be able to accept it, because there's two stories that we never got but still need: one that bridges the gap between the Omniverse flashbacks and Alien Force, to show us Ben's last adventure before he temporarily retired the Omnitrix, and one that takes place after Omniverse where Ben finally earns the Master Control from Azmuth and is set on the path to become Ben 10,000, so that everything can finally come together. Until that happens, Ben 10 is unfinished and wasn't ready for a reboot
