Back in December 2020, I started doing character design practice as a way for me to shake out of an art block and to warm up to doing commissions. Eventually my mind went to doing a tactical rpg ala Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc, with furry characters.

I'd like to try and make it some day, but for the time being, here are the character designs I've been making on the weekends for fun!

Did somebody say year of the cow? Awww yee.

So for this one, I wanted to do a highland cow design. Rather than going something typically bulky weapon wise to reflect the strength, I thought I'd go for an archer. I put them in a clothing design I had for another character years ago,one that reflected traditional finnish folk clothing.
