Back in December 2020, I started doing character design practice as a way for me to shake out of an art block and to warm up to doing commissions. Eventually my mind went to doing a tactical rpg ala Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc, with furry characters.

I'd like to try and make it some day, but for the time being, here are the character designs I've been making on the weekends for fun!

I quite liked the idea of this noblewoman that would pull out guns and such out from a tiny purse, and is very matter of fact about the situation. "Oh, it appears that pirates have taken over the town. This level of calibre should suffice."

This was where I started to cement the idea that typically noble characters would wear clothing where it was split black and white. At the very least, it implies they are from the same region!
