I wanted to get some practice with facial expressions and well I ended up drawing my Sauroid character Talyn again. This time though with some nice armor. He's on his way dwon a side walk to Memorial Hall. His species don't bury their dead. Instead they disperse the dearly departed's remains with the a ritual phrase. "From the stardust of the universe do we come and back to it do we return." So they build places like this. A hall with many holographic images of the departed with a name plate and an item the departed treasured sealed safely below the projector. Talyn is here to visit the memorial of his own older brother. He was killed in an incident on board a trading vessel which was making a run to a newly established colony. He died attempting to repel the boarders. Talyn misses his big brother so. His younger brother Kal wasn't old enough to remember him though. As you can see the pain of loosing a close family member still stings as sharp as ever. Talyn will never forget his brother.
