Back in December 2020, I started doing character design practice as a way for me to shake out of an art block and to warm up to doing commissions. Eventually my mind went to doing a tactical rpg ala Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc, with furry characters.

I'd like to try and make it some day, but for the time being, here are the character designs I've been making on the weekends for fun!

For this particular character, I wanted to try and do a drunken master archetype to allow for some dynamic poses! I decided on a tiger as I don't tend to draw them that often and thought it would be good practice. I then thought it could be cool to have either tattoos or paint on the character that enhance or replace some of the stripes, and I landed on this!

I noticed that I tended to put either bows or bells onto the feline tails in this setting haha
