Back in December 2020, I started doing character design practice as a way for me to shake out of an art block and to warm up to doing commissions. Eventually my mind went to doing a tactical rpg ala Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc, with furry characters.

I'd like to try and make it some day, but for the time being, here are the character designs I've been making on the weekends for fun!

So as a fun fact, this character originally started off as a DnD character I had made for a laugh! Beauregard Groswood was a sorcerer that inexplicably had tavern brawler and improvised fighter feats. I thought it fun to do a trash wizard/ hedge witch. A guy that looked like he physicially was dragged through a hedge and woke up in the process covered in some kind of blood, whether his own or someone elses. Due to his crazy wild magic, and the spells he had, he basically would transform parts of his anatomy into beast/animal forms to attack (gain a tail, bear claws etc)

So.. I thought why not anthropomorphise this character and have this fun scrappy chimera?
