Back in December 2020, I started doing character design practice as a way for me to shake out of an art block and to warm up to doing commissions. Eventually my mind went to doing a tactical rpg ala Shining Force, Fire Emblem, Final Fantasy Tactics etc, with furry characters.

I'd like to try and make it some day, but for the time being, here are the character designs I've been making on the weekends for fun!

I realised that I had only drawn one rodent so far! And with so many male characters, I've been trying to put more female designs in as well. I had this idea of a female rat/mouse in a hood with a big axe and decided to design something!

As I had put many female characters into dresses, they were usually archetypes of characters that fire things from a distance. So with this, I thought it could be a fun excuse to try and do the practice of girding your loins. Aka, tying up a dress in such a way that it lets you be much mobile and athletic without ruining your dress.
