Yes, Dai wears a uniform of some kind for all occasions. I can’t say that he always enjoys it, but that is the life he has chosen to lead. :P
When
ursusarctos and I first came up with the idea for a joint commission, I think it’s fair to say that neither of us envisaged that it would turn out this good. Of course,
FortunataFox is an excellent artist to work with, and she took meticulous details of both our characters and the bicycles we ride in real life – my Daicycle and Ursus’ Ursicycle, respectively – but seeing the finished piece for the first time was incredibly exciting. I just love how idyllic and peaceful it looks! Rolling green hills, a warm blue sky filled with life, and two good friends pedalling aimlessly along, engaged in top-quality conversation. This was the first proper joint-commission I’ve ever ordered, and I’m so glad to have got it with such a good friend. ^__^

Hehe, he's certainly a very friendly fellow to accompany the looks! Fortunata did a splendid piece of another ursine buddy of mine: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34333410/
And I'm very grateful for it, not just for leaving the fave with me but with Fortunata and Ursus as well. They deserve the lion's (or bear's) share of the credit, after all. ^^
Agreed! The world passes you by not too fast and not too slowly, leaving just the right amount of time to appreciate your surroundings before another beautiful view comes along. :)

Good effort! Did you stretch before and after the trip? It's surprising how much that can help.
I pushed myself way too hard on my big trip a few weeks ago. After going 75 miles and climbing 3,500ft in one day, I staggered into my hotel room feeling like I was at death's door: shaking, coughing, sweating, aching. :P

I didn't do any stretches before hand, but I did do several while taking breaks. I just need to build up stamina, but with my schedule and my family it's really hard to keep consistent. Bike riding for my is a luxury sometime. May get to do more next year because we won't be in the middle of moving.
That's quite intense. I hope I can do that one day.
