A dying galaxy, a dead rock wandering in it's embrace
A wish for a new beginning, a desire to not cease
The core filled in hope, the crust bursting for a new chance
A confused mind emerges, seeking for her purpose.
Rough beginnings, scorched dirt
Cold darkness, vast emptiness
Flickers of hope in the distance
A long lasting journey of life ahead.
So many places, so many worlds
Spinning stars, all consuming black holes
So much to observe, so much to learn
The joy of life, one's purpose found.
Back at home, ready to restore
From ashes and dust to a sprawling green
From empty caverns burst crystal blue waters
A new world reborn, the goddess' creation.
Her planet flourishes with life
Mother of creation bestows her love
Enjoying the fruits from the long journey
Caring for her home and children.
Striving for a better tomorrow
Protecting a site of wonders
Blessing her loved ones
Always watching over creation.
Happy Earth Day!

Whoah… This is fantastic! I love the warm, gentle feeling you've conveyed despite Kami's delightfully large stature, and your poem feels appropriate, too. We (as citizens of Earth) could certainly use restoration after this hectic past year.
And my compliment is not even accounting for taking years of experience in traditional, only to make the leap into revisiting digital - wonderfully done! It feels like you took advantage of layering and special effects rather than just copying the exact same workflow over (though there's nothing wrong with that, either).
Don't get me wrong, I still enjoy your traditional artings and I like the feel they convey as well; I'm not saying to toss that out. Just saying congrats for all your effort - it's not gone unnoticed =^.^=
