Okay I'll tag the species for this story I finished a couple of days ago as bat for that is the species of the POV character. I guess the real core paragraph I built the story around was the one starting with "I looked out the window of the spacecraft and couldn't help but stare." Also, I guess because I made this a plain text file, the genus name Buteo is not in italics. Anyway, I wrote this with the intent of posting it on Earth Day.
