[NMA] Jake Reference Sheet (vore prey themes)
Well I never exactly needed a reference sheet for Jake, who is my persona, but some friends finally convinced me to get one and Sabi offered to make me one.
Backstory (Jake has multiple backstories, and this his Uprora version which is his primary one):
Born on Earth and at the age of 12, while visiting a rural, farming colony on another planet, Jake's parents disappeared and he was put into a backwater orphanage. There, the human largely distanced himself from others, so in hopes of escape, he spent every second of his time being productive enough to pass the orphanage's high school curriculum when he was 16, but to his dismay it didn't help his situation. Eventually, not long after he had turned 18, people came looking for those old enough to participate in a migration program that would mean more humans growing up on the only discovered planet with alien life, Uprora.
The ship broke down in the atmosphere and forced Jake to jettison into the jungle in an escape pod. From there he had close encounters with creatures that would have helped him, but his panicked state created hesitance. It turned out the jungle held itself in a sort of bubble that kept the tropical heat and humidity inside, separating from the neighboring forest.
It had begun to snow, and Jake had fallen off a small outcrop and injured his leg. He had given up hope when the dragon known as Faith found him, earning his trust enough that he allowed willingly, though extremely hesitantly, her to swallow him whole after explaining she had a storage stomach. There, she brought him to her family, who keep very close ties despite those members being old enough to move away to wherever they wished. Jake made a big enough impression that Faith's parents adopted him as their son, while also ensuring every human need was met.
Some later, Jake lives in his own home, but tends to leave it empty as he is nearly always visiting his relatives or the many friends he has made throughout the years.
The necklace he always keeps with him is a gift from the shady panther friend of his, Sierra, and works to keep him safe from digestion from predators without reformation abilities, whether for safety, or for fun to which Sierra has absolutely zero qualms against using for. Upon the body being digested, the necklace houses the soul, and eventually forces the predator to expel it, usually in a belch, and soon creates a new body for Jake in a dazzling light. If Jake were to be reformed by another power, usually belonging to the predator that consumed him, it will simply teleport back to his neck (and this proves useful when trying to tell if a predator was sincere in their promises to reform).
Personality:
Jake is fellow with very good morals, always thinking about those close to him over himself. Highly empathetic, when someone he knows is in a crisis of some sort, it deeply affects him.
One of Jake's most prominent things is his desire for physical affection. It may stem from the trauma that lingers when his biological parents disappeared without a trace, and being shown love physically is a coping method. The feeling of being utterly at the mercy of a being so much stronger who cares for him brings absolute comfort, taking in the security that he could never escape them even if he wanted to. He wants those that love him to bring so much overbearing affection he'll get lost in it all, disappearing from the outside world. Usually, it's such an embarrassing subject he can't even say it, but rarely he needs to. It's the big reason why he loves being safely eaten, that is the feeling of utter closeness enveloping him.
